With generous hearts, former students and colleagues have requested a personal way to honor Mr. Mabe and his tremendous encouragement and dedication to our community. Your generous donation will fund our mission of giving students in Wills Point ISD the tools for success through a future endowment fund in Mr. Mabe's name. For students who did not have the opportunity to experience Mr. Mabe, this is a way for his legacy and love of education to continue on and positively impact future students for years to come.

The WPISD staff is our #1 donor! Each month, employees who choose, can have a portion of their check donated directly to the Wills Point ISD Education Foundation. Since inception, employees of the district donated over $150,000!

During our Founders Drive, community members, employees, businesses, and graduates had the opportunity to be recognized as Founding Donors of the WPISDEF. In February of 2019, we hosted a Donor Dinner to unveil the Founders Wall at WPHS.
Boots, Buckles, and Bling Gala
Annual Fundraising Gala
In 2019, the WPISDEF hosted its First Annual Gala, an auction, dinner, and concert benefiting the Foundation. The inaugural event raised over $90,000. Neal McCoy was the featured artist of the evening. Over 250 guests filled the venue for 20 door prize items, 10 live auction items, dinner catered by WPHS Alum Eddie Deen and Brent Deen, games, recognition of teachers, and culminated with the live concert.
Our 2020 Boots, Buckles, and Bling Gala was postponed multiple times due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. We were finally all able to be together in March of 2021! 2021 brough 300 guests to the Gala and Tracy Byrd headlined the event. WPISD Education Foundation, thanks to many selfless donors, broke our inaugural record and brought in a total revenue of $134,000!
The announcement of each year's Gala headliner will come in December.
We hope that each year continues to be a time of fun and fellowship for the Wills Point community.
